2024 Bible Reading Challenge
The church leadership invites you to read through the Bible in 2024! As you read through the Bible please be sure and record each book using the form below.
1) Pray for God's guidance in your decision to commit to daily Bible reading in 2024 and pray for the Netherwood family as we take on this challenge, 2) Commit and 3) Choose your plan. We are offering two Bible Reading plans in 2024, shown below. If you don't want to use one of them, then various other plans may be found here.
1) The traditional approach is to read the Bible straight through. You can download the plan here: Straight Through the Bible Reading Plan
2) The second Bible reading plan consists of 52 weekly readings for the year. The reading plan is formatted in seven columns: The Epistles, The Law, History, Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy, and the Gospels. Each day of the week you will read anywhere from one to six chapters out of a different part of the Bible. You will also cover one or more chapters out of each major area of the Bible. By switching areas daily you are less likely to get bogged down reading an area that you might not currently find interesting. The second plan is furnished courtesy of http://www.bible-reading.com. It can be viewed and downloaded in PDF format by clicking here.
